The watch is powered by the calibre 20.28. The dial has been reprinted at some point in the past, but we still see it as a very cool timepiece from an incredible manufacture.

The 1016 is one of the most desired timepieces and for great reason. The 1016 is one of the purest expressions of watch design and for this reason that I am probably asked for vintage Explorer reference 1016s more than any other watch. The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.The Daytona reference 6263 in gold with a black dial and black acrylic bezel is one of the most desirable vintage Rolex models, made even more special when it is in the rare and rosy 14k gold for the American market.
