Nov 17, 2022 · Over the past week dolphin fishing has been pretty solid. The best dolphin reports seem to be coming in roughly 600-800' of water. Depth has varied depending on water conditions. Trolling small ballyhoo, bonita strips, or squid remains the best bet on the dolphin. Inside of 300' the sailfish have started to bite a little better. Weekend Fishing Outlook (4/28-4/30/2023) OFFSHORE - Solid springtime mixed bag action offshore again this week (in between the weather and storms). This is a great time of year to be offshore; with sailfish, dolphin, Blackfin Tuna, kingfish, wahoo, and more all being possible. In fact; a lot of first hand reports sound kind of like that right ...The Juno Beach Pier saw the best action; with a nice mix bag of pompano, bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel. The pompano were caught best on Doc's Goofy Jigs; with a few coming on sandfleas and FishBites as well. The Bluefish were biting poppers and diamond jigs the best. Chunks of mullet and sardines will also get the bluefish's attention.From the pier bait it seems to be about a 50/50 split between bait and Doc's Goofy JIgs catching the pomps. Bright colored Goofy Jigs (Pink, Green, and Orange especially) remain the best color choice.
