The car was repaired on Sept. 14 by a tire service near us. The driver's front wheel bearing that was replaced 5 years ago lost the "tone ring" that the ABS sensor reads. A new wheel bearing was installed and the car has been working properly. The new ABS sensor that I installed didn't work because there wasn't anything for it to "read".
