Course Offering Information: All Semester at Sea students take 4 courses, including the required core course, IE 200 Global Studies, for a total full-time load of 12 credits. 70-72 courses will be offered on the Spring 2022 voyage. Lower-division courses are designated with 100-299 numbers; upper-division courses are 300-499 numbers.

Semester at Sea submits crime statistics to Colorado State University to be included in their annual campus security report. Our international shipboard campus, the MV World Odyssey , is subject to the health and safety provisions of SOLAS (International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea) and the Cruise Vessel Security and Safety Act of 2010.Semester at Sea secures ten-year lease on MV World Odyssey. ISE offers a variety of need- and merit- based financial awards. These esteemed positions are available for industrious students with the necessary experience to be successful in their assignment. Students will be expected to work two hours per day while at sea. There will be no work expectations while in port. Student Assistant Grants are $4,000.
